Balan's pregnancy for a while now. However, during the promotions of Shaadi Ke Side Effects,
Vidya had denied the news saying, she was not pregnant. "I'm not
pregnant. I'd have to meet Siddharth to get pregnant! Jokes apart, I'm
not yet ready to share Siddharth. Besides, I'm committed through this
year, so motherhood will have to wait," she said. It was earlier
reported that Vidya was all set to star in Sujoy Ghosh's next
bone-chilling thriller Durga Rani Singh with Irrfan Khan. However, the latest buzz reveals that Vidya is in the family way and will no longer be a part of the film.
According to reports, when Sujoy Ghosh heard this news, he was on a
look-out for a talented actress, who could possibly play Vidya's role in
the film. Well, the hunt has finally come to an end. The director
finalized on Kangna Ranaut who gave an awe-inspiring performance in Queen. Even the title Durga Rani Singh goes by her role Rani played in Queen. Apparently, her upcoming film is titled Revolver Rani. We wonder if she has got a lucky streak with Rani.
