Sirajul Haq elected as new Jamaat-e-Islami chief for five years



LAHORE: Sirajul Haq has been elected as Chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Haq who is serving as senior minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa coalition government has been elected as the Jamaat Amir for the next five years.

Syed Munawar Hassan and Liaqat Baloch were also running in the election for the new JI chief.
