Tanishaa plans a surprise trip for Armaan to Dubai

 

            On March 3, Mirror brought you the news that Tanishaa Mukerji and Armaan Kohli had visited Vaishno Devi temple to seek blessings, along with Tanishaa's mother Tanuja and Armaan's father Rajkumar Kohli. Now the couple has been spotted in Dubai, painting the town red.

Early on Saturday, Tanishaa landed up at Armaan's place and told him to pack for Dubai. Initially he thought it was a joke but she had come armed with two tickets to the most expensive city in the Middle East. She had planned the trip to coincide with Armaan's birthday.

When the lovestruck duo landed in Dubai on Saturday, a limousine took them to Faysal Ali Zarooni's palatial mansion. Faysal, who is a family friend of Tanishaa's, owns many luxury properties in Dubai.

During the drive, Tanishaa refused to disclose the final destination to Armaan and he was dumbfounded when the car finally pulled into Faysal's bungalow.

When Mirror contacted Armaan yesterday afternoon, he gushed, "I am not over the surprise that Tanishaa planned for me. I'm floored. This holiday is like a dream. We are in Dubai and will be back in a couple of days."

And while Tanishaa has finally managed to convince her mother Tanuja to accept this relationship given that the veteran actor had shown her dissent to this rishta, which was quite evident through Tanuja’s cold reaction towards Armaan at the Bigg Boss 7 Grand Finale. However, it looks like Tanishaa’s sister and actor Kajol is not ready to accept Mr Kohli as her brother-in-law.

Yes, the Fanaa actor recently made an appearance on Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee with Karan, where she was asked by the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director that, if she was ready to have Armaan Kohli in her life. “That we’ll see about! That’s another topic for another day,” is what KJo got from his best friend. Well, that statement was enough to prove that Kajol is not too happy with her sister’s love, hai na?

Anyway, if the rumours are true that Tanishaa and Armaan are engaged secretly, we wonder if it happened with Kajol’s consent, or without. We also hear that the two lovebirds are planning to tie the knot very soon, so will that also happen without Kajol’s say in it? What do you think,

Is Salman Khan not backing Armaan Kohli’s Bollywood comeback?

The former Bigg Boss contestant’s Bollywood comeback seems to have hit a rough patch

Rumour had it that Armaan Kohli was to star as Salman Khan’s brother in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. However, it looks like those were just rumours as now we hear that Mr Kohli was never offered this project. Apparently, Bollywood’s own naukri.com (Salman Khan) had suggested to Barjatya that Armaan be included in the project. But it seems that the filmmaker didn’t pay any heed to Sallu’s request at all.

“Salman did suggest that Armaan be included in the film, but there was nothing beyond that. Some overzealous people went ahead and announced that Armaan was essaying the role of Sallu’s brother in the film,” a source was quoted by a tabloid.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will go on floors in May and the cast includes Salman along with Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal and Samira Rao. Yes, the official star cast doesn’t include Mr Kohli’s name in it. “Sooraj Barjatya did not approach him for any role. Armaan has not even spoken to anyone at the production house. He only knew that Salman had recommended his name. He was taken aback when the news came out,” a source close to Armaan said.

As you will know, Armaan doesn’t have a Bollywood career to boast about. Having all flop films in his resume, the man surely needed a good comeback to look at a fresh lease of life in B-Town. And there is no denying that a movie with Sallu would have done wonders for him. But looks like the lady luck (Tanishaa Mukherji) is not proving to be so lucky for Mr Kohli.
