Actor Ashton Kutcher has gone the traditional way in marriage by seeking blessing from girlfriend Mila Kunis’ father.
The 36-year-old ‘Jobs’ actor wanted to take a traditional approach and decided to have a chat with his girlfriend’s father, Mark, over the Christmas period before he popped the big question, reported People magazine.
“He talked with Mila’s dad around Christmas time. He asked for Mark’s blessing to marry her. It was important to Ashton to be respectful and traditional. This is the real thing for him and he wants to do it all right,” said a source.
The former ‘That 70s Show’ co-stars have been dating since April 2012. Their friends believe they will tie the knot later this year as they “don’t want to wait.”
“They don’t want to wait. This relationship started on solid ground and everything is working out. They are in it for the long haul, truly,” one of their friends said.
Ashton Kutcher was previously married to Demi Moore and their divorce was finalised in November 2013.

Newly engaged couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis joined ‘Two and a Half Men’ co-star Jon
Cryer and his wife for a dinner date.
The foursome was spotted in casual clothes with Kunis opting to go makeup free, reported New York Daily News. While the 30-year-old actress showed off in a short denim dress and red heels, one thing that wasn’t visible was her new ring.
The pair started dating nearly two years ago and, after many speculations about their engagement, Kutcher reportedly popped the question earlier this year with Kunis spotted wearing the ring for the first time on February 26.
The couple, who starred alongside one another for eight seasons on ‘That ’70s Show’ where they first met, are reuniting on the small screen as Kunis is set to appear on ’Two and a Half Men’ the network announced on March 4.

Iran warns Austrian embassy over Ashton meeting with rights activists: IRNA

imageDUBAI: Iran has warned the Austrian embassy in Tehran after it hosted a meeting between the EU foreign policy chief and Iranian human rights activists during her first visit to Iran over the weekend, the state news agency IRNA said on Monday.
Ashton met several human rights activists including the mother of Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti at the embassy on Saturday, which coincided with international women's day.
Beheshti died in jail a few days after he was arrested in 2012 over a blog critical of the government.
"These actions (the meeting) will lead to an increased suspicion between our people and the West and it doesn't help relations between Iran and Europe," Iranian foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Afkham had conveyed an official warning to the Austrian embassy in Tehran over the "unplanned meeting," IRNA said, without elaborating. Ashton's two-day visit was the first by an EU foreign policy chief since 2008.
Ashton had said after meeting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif there was a potential for a dialogue with Tehran over human rights issues in the future.
Human rights activists fear that Tehran's rapprochement with the West since pragmatist President Hassan Rouhani's election in June could lead to a relaxation of international scrutiny of its widely criticised human rights record.
At least 80 people and perhaps as many as 95 have been executed in Iran already this year, a surge in the use of the death penalty that has dampened hopes for human rights reforms under Rouhani, the United Nations said on Feb. 21.

Ashton's visit is the first to Iran by an EU policy chief since 2008.
