Is Yo Yo Honey Singh unhappy with Shahrukh Khan?

Last year, the talented rapper teamed up with King Khan to pay a tribute to South superstar Rajinikanth. Honey Singh came up with Lungi dance and it became the anthem of 2013. This collaboration also saw dostana brewing between Khan and Singh but looks like latter isn’t too happy with his dost anymore…

Yo Yo Honey Singh first got noticed when his song Angreji beat from his album International Villager featured in Saif Ali Khan starrer Cocktail. However, he became a singing sensation overnight with his song Lungi dance featuring B-town superstar Shahrukh Khan and the very gorgeous Deepika Padukone. Within no time, this peppy number became highly popular and Yo Yo Honey Singh made a grand entry in Bollywood. Since then there has been no looking back for this talented singer. In fact, every filmmaker wants to incorporate a special Honey Singh number coz even if the films fail to work at the box office, his song wouldn’t. That’s the reason why he called India’s most loved rapper, hai na? So it wouldn’t be an exaggeration if we said Shahrukh has a played a big role in HS’s success. After all, he gave him the much needed break after which he went on to sing for Akshay Kumar and now Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. But instead of being thankful to the Chennai Express actor, the Punjabi rapper seems to be upset.

We say so coz in a recent interview, the Chaar bottle vodka singer said, “My song ‘Lungi dance‘ had the potential to go global in a big way like Gangnam style but the makers of the film had different plans for it. Finally, it didn’t go the way I had envisioned.” Well, not every song can be as big as Gangnam style, right? Also, one big reason why Gangnam style went viral in 31 counties is coz of its quirky video. Now that explains why Lungi dance wasn’t a rage worldwide, no?

Maybe Honey Singh is upset coz his special song in CE brought SRK, Deepika Padukone and even Rajinikanth in the limelight but not him. Lungi dance was his song but it ended becoming Khan, DP and Sivaji’s actor’s number. We could be wrong but then we fail to understand why is Honey Singh complaining all of a sudden.

Ranveer Singh to go bald for ‘Bajirao Mastani’?

Seems like a season of our heroes going bald for a role in Bollywood. Trend was started by Shahid Kapoor, who has shed his mane for a role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Haider’, and now it seems that Bollywood’s flirt is following Sasha’s path, for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’ Bajirao Mastani. It was being speculated since a long time now who will depict the role of Bajirao in Sanjay’s ambitious project, with names such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh doing the rounds.

As per sources, it seems that Ranveer who has become Bhansali’s blue eyed boy with ‘RamLeela’, is the front-runner for the role. “Sanjay has been in talks with Ranveer and unless there’s some last-minute hitch, it’s almost certain that he’ll be playing Bajirao.” It has also come to be known that director Sanjay wants his hero to shave off his hair, with only a braid left that usually pandits are seen sporting, for the interesting role.

Sources further added that Ranveer is quite excited about the project, he loved the script and is in advanced talks for the role.

My life isn't fodder for gossip columns: Sushant Singh Rajput

Ever since his Bollywood debut two years ago, much has been written about Sushant Singh Rajput's personal life, especially his live-in relationship with TV star Ankita Lokhande.

From unconfirmed reports about Ankita slapping him in public after a jealous fit, to buzz about a secret engagement in Indore and more reports about a fight and a ugly breakup, this love saga had started resembling a TV soap, more than a mushy rom-com.

When Mirror contacted Sushant Singh Rajput for the real version, he refuted all rumours of a split. "I will admit that I'm amused by these never-ending rumours and also very impressed by some of the innovative stories and attempts to make my personal life spicy," he said.

So all is well? "I'm all sorted and very happy with Ankita."

Ankita Lokhande slaps Sushant Singh Rajput in public?

There seems to be trouble in couple Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande love life.

According to a leading daily, both were seen arguing with each other at Yashraj Studios in Mumbai. The argument took such an ugly turn that Ankita apparently slapped Sushant. The fact that they were not alone did not bother the angry TV actress.

A report in India Today says that Ankita called Sushant outside the studio and then checked his phone. They had an argument and she lost her cool and allegedly slapped her live-in partner.

Big B parties all night with Yo Yo Honey Singh

According to the Indian Express Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has talked about how busy and tiring his life has been recently.

The 71-year-old actor will be seen shaking a leg with YO YO Honey Singh in song ‘Party with the Bhoothnath’ of his forthcoming film ‘Boothnath Returns’.

Bachchan revealed he has recently finished shooting for the rap number at Lonavala after which he could only catch an hour of sleep before getting up for work again.

The 71-year-old actor has joined hands with Swades Foundation, which works for the empowerment of poor rural people. He visited Raigad district of Maharashtra to help the organisation in raising funds.

Bachchan posted to his blog: “Having finished very late last night at Lonavala and the Party with the Bhoothnath… Getting to bed almost at 5 am to be up again at 6 am to leave for Raigad by helicopter, an hour away, to visit at my insistence, the work that the Foundation Swades does for the rural inhabitants, one shunts away the lack of energy and sleep that overcomes one.”

The horror comedy flick is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It features Bachchan in a leading role, while Boman Irani and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in supporting roles.

It is slated to release on April 11th, 2014.
