The first official trailer of 'Dr Cabbie' was released on Friday.

Bollywood starlet Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabel Kaif is all set to make her acting debut with ‘Dr. Cabbie’, co produced by her sister’s ex flame Salman Khan.

The first official trailer of ‘Dr Cabbie’ was released on Friday (April 4).

‘Dr Cabbie’ features Vinay Virmani, who was appreciated in Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘David’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ actor Kunal Nayyar. The film set in Toronto, is about Deepak Chopra, played by Vinay a young doctor who immigrates from India to Canada.

However, Deepak ends up driving a taxi to earn some money but soon converts his cab business into a mobile clinic. Kunal Nayyar plays a local cab driver who helps Deepak.

In the female roles, the film has American actor Adrianne Palicki in the lead role, Lilette Dubey, who is playing Deepak’s mother and Isabel.

While sister Katrina Kaif began her acting career in Bollywood with ‘Boom’, Isabel will be starting with a Canadian film. But the film’s first look does have a Bollywood touch to it.

The trailer comes across as a quirky comedy film directed by Canadian director Jean-Francois Poulliot.

Salman Khan impressed with trailer of Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kaanchi’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is very much impressed with filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s next directorial venture ‘Kaanchi.
Salman, who watched the recently released trailer of romantic drama ‘Kaanchi’, said the film has been beautifully shot. The Dabangg actor tweeted: “Saw the promo of kanchi ? Quiet nice na? Happy fr S G, its beautifully shot, Hope it does well. Best of luck S G.”
‘Kaanchi’ marks the debut of a new face Mishti in Bollywood. The actress looks beautiful playing the role of a bold village girl who courageously takes up the fight against power and injustice.
She eventually falls in love with a village boy, played by Kartik Aaryan of ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnama’ fame. Produced by Mukta Arts, ‘Kaanchi’ also features Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Rishabh Sinha and is slated to hit theatres on April 25.

Trailer Launch of Subhash Ghai's Kaanchi a Huge Success!

Subhash Ghai launched the trailer for his upcoming film Kaanchi in true Showman style. The event took place at Cinemax yesterday afternoon. Subhash Ghai was present with his two leading actors- Kartik Aaryan and debutante Mishti. Imtiaz Ali was also present and gave a speech, saying, "I have never seen a director as successful as Subhash Ghai."

 

Subhash Ghai said, "Main movies mein jiya hoon aur movies mein hi marunga." "Kaanchi is a commercial film which each one of you will love," he also said.

 

The trailer went live at 5 pm, immediately creating buzz on social media. Starring Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kartik Aaryan, Mishit, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Rishabh Sinha, Kaanchi is Ghai's first film in more than five years. Mishti plays the protagonist in the film. The film revolves around the story of a woman who fights against the injustice in country. Kaanchi is slated to release on 25th April, 201
