Ranbir Kapoor is fond of Alia Bhatt and had recommended her for Window Seat.
Director Imtiaz Ali confirmed this to the Hindustan Times saying,
"Ranbir has always believed that Alia has a lot of potential as an
actor. So he had suggested her name, and asked if she fits in the role.
But she is too young for the part." We also hear that post the success
of Highway, he was very impressed with Alia’s performance and
called her up and complimented her. Alia too is open about her liking
for the handsome star. While promoting Student of the Year (2012), she had said "I have always loved Ranbir… He is my biggest crush and he will always remain my biggest crush."
