Shah Rukh ecstatic to be a superstar despite flop films

imageAccording to the Press Trust of India Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh has expressed his delight over still being considered the king of Indian film industry despite delivering several flops.
Khan made his acting debut in 1988 with super-hit Indian TV serial ‘Fauji’ and has since appeared in around 80 films in a career spanning more than two decades.
“It has been an amazing journey till now. It is fantastic time to be here,” Khan was quoted as saying by the Press Trust of India.
“I have done 70-80 films out of which 50 per cent are flops, still I am star… but those films are close to me.”
SRK, who has given several blockbuster hits most notably 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Ghum', 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Chennai Express', will next be seen in Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’.
The film is slated to release on October 23rd, 2014. It will feature Deepika Padukone as the leading actress, while Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah will be seen in supporting roles.
