Govt taking measures to facilitate people: Khawaja Asif

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif Sunday directed the government departments to utilize their full energies to serve the masses with devotion and dedication.

He said this while talking to party workers at his residence here.

MPAs Manshaullah Butt, Muhammad Ikram, Arshad Javaid Warraich and PML-N leaders Idrees Ahmed Bajwa, Shujaat Ali Pasha and others were also present.

Khawaja Asif said the government was fulfilling all its promises and making all-out sincere efforts to raise living standard of the people by ensuring an early and smooth provision of basic facilities to their door steps under a comprehensive multi-phased social welfare and development oriented programme.

He said the PML-N had successfully put the country on way to success after economical and political stability by taking very important decisions in the national interest.

The Minister said the PML-N government was implementing on several revolutionary and practical steps to steer the country and the nation out of energy crisis.

Earlier, the Minister listened to problems of the masses at his residence and issued orders on various applications.
