Govt to provide every help to drought-affected people: Pervaiz

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that federal government will extend every possible help to drought-affected people of Thar.
In a statement, he said helicopters have been provided for the assistance of the affected people. Pervaiz Rashid said the Prime Minister will visit Thar tomorrow cancelling all his engagements.
He said long-term measures are also being taken to help the people of Thar. The Minister said Thar is part of Pakistan and it is our obligation to help the people of the area.
