Akshay Kumar & Prabhudheva together again

The last time Akshay Kumar and Prabhudheva came together, they took the box-office by storm with Rowdy Rathore in 2012. However the two will unite again. Akshay Kumar will be playing the lead role in Prabhudheva’s next untitled film. The hunt for the female lead is on and the film will release in 2015. The film is made under Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi's banner, Grazing Goat Pictures. Prabhudheva is right now shooting for Action Jackson with Ajay Devgn.

Sallu Has a Tiff With Akshay?

Salman Khan is quite generous when it comes to doing cameos for friends. However, he is particular that he has to be the centre of attraction. He was to shake a leg in the title track of Akshay Kumar's Fugly.

 

After the shoot started, Sallu realised that it was Akki who was hogging most of the limelight in the special song and was allegedly quite upset. A source revealed to the TOI, "Sallu did not know about the details of the song and was briefed when he arrived on the set. Since Akshay had more screen time in the song, he coolly walked off after shooting the first stanza of the song, much to everyone's shock."

Ungrateful Nargis Makes Akshay Furious

Nargis' performance in Rockstar did not really go down too well with the audience and she has no takers. It's at this time Akshay Kumar gave her a three-film deal with his production house. She was the original choice for Khiladi 786 but then her agency made too many demands and Akshay dropped the idea of casting her. However, he gave her another opportunity with the remake of the 1982 film Shaukeen. The star though dropped the film like a hot potato when she got a role a Hollywood movie. She will make her Hollywood debut as a secret agent in a film to be directed by Paul Feig. Akshay we hear is quite furious about her move to quit his film and thinks she is ungrateful.

Akshay and Salman to share screen space for Fugly

According to the Times of India Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to share screen with Akshay Kumar in a dance number of forthcoming film ‘Fugly’.

In the special dance number Kumar and Khan, who appeared together in the song ‘Wallah Re Wallah’ of Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’, will be seen together dancing alongside Bollywood newcomers Vijender Singh, Mohit Marwah and Kiara Advani. It will be a Yo Yo Honey Singh dance number.

The film, which is slated to release on Jun 13th, 2014, is directed by Kabir Sadanand and is co-produced by Kumar himself.
