2 States song Mast magan: Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s chemistry is endearing

Mast magan is the latest track from Karan Johar’s 2 States which stars the very gorgeous Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor in the lead. After releasing two fun college numbers Offo and Locha-e-Ulfat, the makers have finally offered us an out-an-out romantic number. Sung by Arijit Singh and Chinmayi Sripada, Mast magan is a beautiful composition which has a sufi feel it. It’s subdued yet very strong and will certainly keep you hooked from the word go. While Ms Bhatt and the Kapoor lad’s chemistry is amazing, it’s Arijit’s voice which takes this song to another level. The talented singer has yet again hit the bulls eye with his melodious voice wethinks. Chinmayi Sripada is equally good but Singh’s dumdaar awaaz overshadows everything else. Coming to the video, you get see Alia’s South Indian avatar and we must admit she looks stunning. Well, this babe can carry off any attire gracefully it seems. There is Arjun too and we totally love the way how he talks with his onscreen ladylove talk through eyes. The video perfectly syncs with the song and in a way it’s like watching  a film altogether. Sussanne: You cannot blame Arjun Rampal for my separation from Hrithik Roshan

Sussanne has put to rest all the buzz surrounding her relationship with good friend Arjun

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne’s separation took their family, friends and fans by surprise. When Hrithik issued a statement to the media announcing his split with wife Sussanne, there were also rumours doing rounds about the reason why the once ‘it’ couple of B-town was heading for a separation. Reports suggested that Sussanne growing proximity with Hrithik’s good friend Arjun Rampal was what caused trouble in their marriage. However soon after this Arjun Rampal too issued a statement denying all these reports. Rumour mills were pouring out details of how Arjun’s wifey Mehr Jessia was mighty pissed with her hubby and even suspected that her husband had gotten too close for comfort with friend Sussanne on the pretext of supporting her during tough times.

However yesterday’s scene at Bandra 190 store launch had stark contrast to all that was said and heard in the last few days. Friends of the Roshans came in full support of Sussanne everyone from Arjun Rampal-Mehr Jessia, Shahrukh and Gauri Khan, Salman Khan, Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan were present. Not only that, Sussanne also decided to clear Arjun’s name from the rumours, she said, “You can’t blame anyone for this. It is sad to blame anyone. We are close-knit friends. It’s not right to blame anyone. There is no reason. Sometimes you have to do this because of a situation.”

The Rock On!! actor too decided to take this opportunity and clear his name, the actor told reporters, “If Sussanne and Hrithik are happy staying separately they should, one should close and old chapter and start a new one. I have stood by Sussanne because she is like my family member.”

It’s love at first sight for the Ishaqzaade actor

Arjun Kapoor just cannot take his eyes off sexy Alia Bhatt in 2 States. The actor who is going crazy in love hums and grooves to Locha-e-ulfat song, which is best described as ‘sweet’. Unlike the promos where Alia and Arjun indulge in kisses and some steamy love making sequences, this song is more about Arjun aka Krish Malhotra loosing his mind after he meets the pretty Alia Bhatt aka Ananya Swaminathan and is head over heels in love with her.It is the chemistry between the two lead actors that’s crackling. Sonam’s brother proves that he has the expressions and dance moves to make it big in Bollywood. Arjun does remind us of a younger and more flexible version of Abhishek Bachchan. Alia Bhatt on the other hand is refreshingly different from her previous two films Highway and Student Of The Year. AK is a fabulous dancer and extremely light on his feet, his dance moves are simple looking, but that is because the Kapoor lad adds ease to these steps.

The music is light, it’s not what we would call as Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s best composition. The song gels well with the movie and is apt for a college number where the hero talks about his first love and the aftermath.
