Kareena Kapoor Khan: Karisma looks younger than any Bollywood actress

Kareena, 33, feels Karisma is lucky to have a toned body.
Kareena, 33, feels Karisma is lucky to have a toned body.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan feels her elder sister Karisma looks younger than any contemporary female stars today.
“She (Karisma) has two kids, but she doesn’t look like a mother of two. She looks younger than any Bollywood actress even today. She is the most beautiful girl as her heart is of gold. When you see her she looks radiant as ever,” Kareena told PTI.
Kareena, 33, feels Karisma is lucky to have a toned body.
“She has very toned body and she is genetically blessed. I am more of a Kapoor, but she is more like my mother,” Kareena said.
The ‘Jab We Met’ star said she might also open her own fashion label after being the face of many fashion labels.
“It is not a plan or thought in my mind as of now. May be yes, sometime later,” she added.

Kareena Kapoor: I do not regret rejecting ‘Queen, Ram-Leela’

Actress Kareena Kapoor doesn't feel disheartened about her projects getting delayed or things not working out the way she wants them to, and has indeed started taking them in her stride.
Two of Kareena's most talked-about films, Karan Johar's home production 'Shuddhi' and 'Bombay Samurai' opposite Farhan Akhtar are stuck for some reasons. In case of 'Shuddhi', the project derailed due to lead actor Hrithik Roshan's health issues, forcing Kareena to walk out of the venture.
'Bombay Samurai' got delayed apparently as the production house (Excel Entertainment) is busy with other project with Shah Rukh Khan.

The film was initially supposed to go on floors this month but now it will happen post September, contrary to reports that it is delayed to next year.
"I have left 'Shuddhi', I am not part of it anymore. I am not at all disheartened about it. It ('Bombay Samurai' getting delayed) gives me more time for myself and to holiday... I am married now I am not running a relay marathon now. I don't know why the press makes such a big deal about it," Kareena told in an exclusive interview here.
"After 'Singham 2', we will shoot for 'Bombay Samurai'. It (film) needs international crew so we will begin (to) work on it post September," she said, adding that shooting for 'Singham 2' will start from March 25.
When asked about her refusal to projects like 'Queen', 'Ram-Leela', 'Chennai Express', 'Fashion', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Black' and others which subsequently went to other actresses, Kareena said she did not regret her decision.
"I feel honoured and glad to give work to other people. I hope they (actresses) become stars as I have rejected big films," she said.
When asked about her criteria for picking a film, Kareena said she wanted to be related to the project and big banner is secondary.
"I am looking for films that I want to be part of... something that excites me. I listen to about two stories a day but I am not going to say yes to anyone, no matter who it is. I don't think whether that person is big (filmmaker) or not. I will go by the script and that is more important for me and I have learnt that over the years," Kareena added.

Rishi Takes Revenge on Sonam Kapoor?

Rishi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor was once known to have miffed Rishi Kapoor for allegedly making remarks about his son Ranbir Kapoor. Sonam and Deepika had appeared on Koffee With Karan and the duo took digs at Ranbir throughout the episode. This did not go down well with Ranbir's family and the yesteryear actor Rishi showed his displeasure evidently. However, there has been a lot of talk recently that Sonam and Rishi have patched up on the sets of Bewakoofiyaan.
Yet, during the shoot of the film, Rishi gave Sonam an earful when she requested him for a retake. He snubbed her saying, "Sonam tu prove kar rahi hain ke tu Anil Kapoor ki beti hain (by repeating the scenes, you prove that you are indeed the daughter of Anil Kapoor)." Apparently, the veteran actor is known for his mood swings too. Many a time, he had lost his cool and even had yelled. We wonder if Rishi Kapoor is still holding his grudge against Sonam Kapoor. Sonam, however, feels that there has never been a cold vibe between them.

For Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor is hero No. 1

For Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor is hero No. 1

Actress Kajol, who has given several hit films in company of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, thinks Ranbir Kapoor scores higher than her long-time good and also Aamir Khan in terms of acting capabilities.
In an upcoming episode of popular TV chat show 'Koffee with Karan', the host, filmmaker Karan Johar, asks Kajol to rank - talent and acting ability wise - Shah Rukh, Salman Khan, Aamir, Ranbir and Hrithik in order of preference.
The 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' actress was quick to crown Ranbir, the junior-most among them, as No 1, though the two have not yet shared screen space.
"On the top I would say Ranbir...I think he is fantastic. On second position Shah Rukh and Aamir are on par with each other...there is no up or down in that. Then we come to Salman and so on."
To another question, Kajol said she would like to ask the Bollywood badshah about his frankness in airing his views. "Why are you so candid all the time? Don't you know people like to hear nice...pretty lies once in a while."
From her cousin-actress Rani Mukherji, Kajol wants to know when is the "Bunty Aur Babli" star getting married, a query she would pose to producer-director Aditya Chopra too.
Reports of Rani-Aditya marriage had been doing the round since quite sometime.
The 39-year-old "Fanaa" star yearns to spend more time with actor-husband Ajay Devgn. "I don't get enough time with him. I would really like to take him out for a romantic date."
Kajol, who dominated Bollywood in 1990s along with Madhuri Dixit, said she is extremely choosy about doing films.
"It (the script) has to be good. I don't want to work with someone who is not going to bring out the best in me. I don't want to work with somebody who is going to depend on me to do the 90 per cent of the work."
In the episode to be aired on March 16 on Star World, the bubbly and outspoken actress will be seen with her director-cousin Ayan Mukherji.

2 States song Locha-e-ulfat: Arjun Kapoor is madly in love with Alia Bhatt!

2 States song Locha-e-ulfat: Arjun Kapoor is madly in love with Alia Bhatt!

It’s love at first sight for the Ishaqzaade actor

Arjun Kapoor just cannot take his eyes off sexy Alia Bhatt in 2 States. The actor who is going crazy in love hums and grooves to Locha-e-ulfat song, which is best described as ‘sweet’. Unlike the promos where Alia and Arjun indulge in kisses and some steamy love making sequences, this song is more about Arjun aka Krish Malhotra loosing his mind after he meets the pretty Alia Bhatt aka Ananya Swaminathan and is head over heels in love with her.It is the chemistry between the two lead actors that’s crackling. Sonam’s brother proves that he has the expressions and dance moves to make it big in Bollywood. Arjun does remind us of a younger and more flexible version of Abhishek Bachchan. Alia Bhatt on the other hand is refreshingly different from her previous two films Highway and Student Of The Year. AK is a fabulous dancer and extremely light on his feet, his dance moves are simple looking, but that is because the Kapoor lad adds ease to these steps.
The music is light, it’s not what we would call as Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s best composition. The song gels well with the movie and is apt for a college number where the hero talks about his first love and the aftermath.
Watch Locha-e-ulfat song for Alia Bhatt‘s cute looks or then Arjun‘s cool moves or then this duo’s sizzling chemistry in 2 States but definitely do not miss it!

Ayushmann Khurrana: I think I have become a one-take artist because of Rishi Kapoor

Speaking on the title of the film, Ayushmann admitted that he too has committed his share of mistakes in life.
Speaking on the title of the film, Ayushmann admitted that he too has committed his share of mistakes in life.
VJ turned actor Ayushmann Khurrana says he has learnt to be a one-take artiste thanks to industry veteran Rishi Kapoor with whom he is sharing screen space in their upcoming film ‘Bewakoofiyan’.
It is for the first time that Ayushmann will be seen with the senior actor in a film, which stars Sonam Kapoor as the female lead.
Rishi is known to be temperamental but Ayushmann had a good experience of working him.
“He cannot tolerate incompetency, he wants everybody around him to be competent and should be professional. I think it just rubs on you because if you are a learner in life then you need to take cues from an experienced actor like him,” Ayushmann told PTI.
“He believes in giving one take shot as he feels it becomes mechanical if you give more than two takes. I think I have become a one-take artist because of him,” he said.
Speaking on the title of the film, Ayushmann admitted that he too has committed his share of mistakes in life.
“I have committed my own set of blunders while anchoring. In personal life I have done lots of Bewakoofiyan like when I got married I just had Rs 10,000 in my hand. I had spent all the money that I had earned for my wedding and honeymoon,” he said.
“But it seems destiny had something else in store for me. It could have been a ‘Bewakoofi’ (foolish) if you are not settled and you are getting married, as it becomes difficult,” he added.
The film, directed by Nupur Asthana, is a love story set in times of recession.
“I am affected by recession… I am jobless. My girlfriend (played by Sonam) earns more than me. Rishi Kapoor is playing Sonam’s father in the film who is against their marriage.
“This guy has to make sure that her father is happy and they get married. I think every film has a one liner which are simple but how you treat the film is important,” he said.
The promotions of this film started a bit late but Ayushmann is happy with the way things are shaping up. It is set to release this Friday.
“My films are never promoted ‘Vicky Donor’ or ‘Nautanki Saala’… I don’t know how it is to be on the other side. I am sure they (makers of ‘Bewakoofiyan’) have certain strategy in mind and it will do well,” he added.

Sonam Kapoor shaves, starts series of Anil Kapoor ‘hair’ jokes

Bollywood style diva Sonam Kapoor, who is known for her style quotient and panache, portrayed a different side of herself for the cameras recently.
sonaminside-1
The actress, who otherwise never leaves anyone guessing, shocked the fans on social media with the image which was without a caption. Sonam did an unusual photo shoot for photographer Rohan Shrestha as she posed with shaving cream on her face and a blade scraping it off.
Sonam’s Messy hair, smoky eyes and a sexy pout are all that seem to have made the shoot work beautifuly.
Though we can assume that this may be for one of Sonam Kapoor’s new ad shoots, we definitely like our fashionista without these manly instincts!
Sonan Kapoor’s father and Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has always been a butt of jokes for his hairy body and after this picture the internet world opened a fresh series of jokes.

Sonam Kapoor to play a politician in Battle For Bittora adaptation

Sonam Kapoor
Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor can be expected to turn a politician, for the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s book, Battle For Bittora, whose rights have been bought by Anil Kapoor Productions.
When asked, Sonam said, “We’ve just bought the rights of the book, but haven’t begun work on the script. So, nothing has been finalised yet. Hopefully, I’m going to start shooting for that film by the end of the year.” Rhea Kapoor has also confirmed that they would be producing the film under Anil Kapoor Productions. Battle For Bittora is a humourous account of young India. It’s about a girl who lives in Mumbai and works in a animation studio, perfectly happy with her carefree, independent existence. That’s when her grandmother shows up and tells her to contest the upcoming elections from their hometown Bittora. She soon starts wearing cotton saris and frumpy blouses, battling accusations from
other politicians.
And while there’s still time for Kapoor to begin shooting for this film, she already seems to have begun the prep work for Arbaaz Khan’s Dolly Ki Doli where she’ll be seen opposite Pulkit Samrat and Rajkummar Rao. The actress has been speaking a lot more Hindi, and using words like ‘hum’ instead of ‘main’. “I already seem to be in the Dolly Ki Doli mode,” laughs Kapoor who is playing a Punjabi girl in the film. And about Sooraj Barjatya’s film opposite Salman Khan, she clarifies, “We’re still in discussions and it’s too early to talk about that film.”
Apart from these films, she’ll also be seen in Khubsoorat remake, the shooting of which has been wrapped up already.

Aditya Roy Kapur in Shuddhi?
After Hrithik Roshan’s exit from Shuddhi, there has been a lot of speculation about who will replace him. Though Ranveer Singh’s name had cropped up as a likely contender for the role, the actor denied that he is part of the film. Now, we hear that Aditya Roy Kapur is being considered to play the main lead in the Karan Malhotra helmed project. Though producer Karan Johar said that the final cast will be announced soon, the film is slated to release on Christmas 2015. The grapevine also suggests that Deepika Padukone has been finalised to play the female lead. Meanwhile, Johar also confirmed that the film will roll in a few months.  When we messaged Karan Johar, he did not revert.
