Imran Khan can hang me for Nawaz victory speech

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rashid on Sunday said that Imran Khan should hang him as he had arranged Nawaz Sharif’s victory speech on the day of May 11 election.

He said that they (PML-N) would have punctured ‘tube’ of Imran Khan in Rawalpindi had they been able to do so.

The minister further said that last year's election was transparent and Hanif Abbasi lost his seat which he had repeatedly been winning in the past.

He said that Najam Sethi made appointments on the demands of Imran Khan and Chaudhry’s which were not acceptable for the PML-N.

The minister said that PTI’s candidates didn’t appear before election tribunals hearing their complaints.
“We don’t talk of hanging people on the streets,” he said. The minister said that Imran Khan himself had demanded appointment of returning officers from judiciary while Najam Sethi was appointed on PPP's proposal.
